Why words make or break your biz
Dec 12, 2024I'm going to make this short, sweet, and to the point.
Here's why words matter first in your business.
Check out the many, many strategies being taught that you can spend lots of money on.
1. Grow and nurture a mailing list
2. Create a lead magnet funnel
3. Social Media Campaign
4. Create a membership
5. Create and launch course or group program
6. Write a website
7. Facebook Ads
8. Blog/Vlog
... and so many more, whatever the flavor of the online-business day is.
But what's involved in all those strategies?
1. Grow and nurture a mailing list ==> You'll need to write a welcome email series and regular newsletters as well as promotional media to get people on your list. And a landing page.
2. Create a lead magnet funnel: You'll need to write a lead magnet, opt-in page, thank you page, and content to drive people to opt-in. You'll need a follow up email nurture sequence that leads people to the next step, and then regular newsletters.
3. Social Media Campaign ==> For any launch, brand awareness, sales - you're writing content, from LinkedIn articles to Insta captions. Carousels. Reels. Long-form FB posts.
4. Create a membership ==> You'll need a sales page, probably a lead magnet funnel with a lead magnet, opt-in page, follow up email sequence to convert to the membership
5. Create and launch course or group program ==> You'll write a sales page and about a million sales emails as well as a social media campaign
6. Write a website ==> Kinda obvious - but you can write one that works, or one that's full of fluff
7. Facebook Ads ==> Words.
8. Blog/Vlog ==> Words.
9. Webinar/masterclass ==> Opt-in registration page, thank you page, at least 10-20 registration emails and post-webinar sales emails, sales page for whatever the webinar leads to, webinar slide deck...
